Is there a way to show error icons for broken business rules in GridView edit lines?

When I break a business rule in a mmGridView edit, I get "Unable to save the current data. See the error icons for details." -- but no error icon next to the field.

Does

My_mmGridView.ErrorMessageLocation = mmErrorMessageLocations.WarningIcon;

do anything?
