I can trace through the code as the grid controls are initializing and the caption is blank, but as soon as I hit the Init of the grid itself, the caption becomes "selected". And there is code in the Init, but I'm stopping before it executes. Somehow the caption is already set at that point. I can't figure out where this caption name is coming from. This did happen in one other application and I had to put some code in the Init of the grid to blank it out. Anybody seen this?

Are you sure you're not running into grid re-construction problem?
