I haven't tried this BUT...
Successware's Rocket product allows you to operate on xBase files in
all of the major formats. I've used it with 16-bit VB3.0 a couple of
years ago and the results were impressive. At the time they were developing a 32-bit OCX products.
My guess would be that you could add xBase support to VFP by using this product<g>. If the OCX works, you should be able to add an object that can be used to read and write the clipper data directly.
The only place that I've seen them on line is on Compuserve
(GO SWARE).
