Hi Christof,

Seems like I was right and the BINDEVENT to page.Activate was the culprit. Once I recoded without it, the problem doesn't appear anymore.

So, do you think it's important to always call unbindevents(this) in the object's Destroy method?

UPDATE. Nope, spoke too soon. The problem still seems to be occurring :( Though now this problem occurs with much less probability, e.g. not on the second call, but on ~8th call from the menu.
