Yes, that's how I saw it too. Kevin openly acknowledges a personal preference for working in C# and gives reasons why he prefers it, but during the training session he frequently gave examples in both C# and VB.NET. It seemed to me that he made a conscientious effort to accommodate attendees who are interested in either language.
