There's nothing sarky about what I said of the team - at all. I just couldn't remember. What did I say? Didn't think that footy was all that big over there (I no you're into it) so wasn't sure that many people would actually know the name any more than I did. OTOH, if I'd said the wrong team name then someone would have been on my back about getting it wrong.

Incidentally, just happened to tune into "David Beckham's Soccer USA" on Channel 5 last night, and the Galaxy were mentuioned. Disappointingly Beckham doesn't actually appear in the show in any form, it's a sort of fanzine re: the leagues over there, with snippets of several matches shown. Now THIS IS SARKY, in an annoying, condescending attitude towards US footy, in a we've-had-it-for-centuries-and-know-best and oooh-aren't-they-quaint-for-beginners sneering way. I don't think you'd enjoy it.
