Ahmad ,
in this forum the answer you most likely get is VFP (s)
IMHO use VFP for anything that has to deal with a database in a serious way and you can use VB for other stuff the nice thing here is that with ActiveX (what was known as OLE2) you can create object with one that would work with the other etc.
