I am playing with recording a voice sound to my PC. I am using program called Total Recorder.
Is there anything in the PC OS (XP PRO) that controls the input lever of an external microphone? I couldn't find it. I can control the level of the output sound in Control Panel. But can't find anything related to a mic. So it is all basically a function of the microphone itself?
