Hi,

I understand that Candidate Indexes does not allow duplicate values. But in my table it did. How is this possible?

I noticed this when I tried to reindex one of my tables with a candidate index type, it prompted an error message that says "uniqueness of index name is violated". So i cancelled reindexing and I checked by browsing the table (with Candidate index type) and I didn't saw any duplicate values. Next thing I did was, I modified the table structure and change the index type to regular and browsed it again. Then the duplicate values showed up (regular index type). when i tried to change the index type back to candidate, it wont save the changes anymore since it would violate the index type.

Is it possible to happen with candidate index type? or any other reasons that this had happened?

Thanks,

Sonny
