VB proved itself to be the most popular small application development
tool. In this forum, Arnon is right, you'd be given all kinds of reasons
why you should choose VFP. The problem might come with estimating the
learning curve for your development team. Are they ready to trash
their general development skills and re-specialize in VFP? How fast,
if the answer is YES, can they do it compared to the dead-line of the
first deliverable? What are the chances that the same team will be
participating in the maintenance stage? How easy is it to employ a good
VFP professional in your area if maintenance will be done by others?
What are the chances of successfully outsourcing maintenance?..Just to
name few considerations before making a decision :)
