>Hi, recently one of our development Win95 PCs has stopped producing stable programs (exe). The symptoms are that if a HP Laserjet is set as the default Win95 printer, the printing/previewing via VFP causes a GPF in GDI.EXE which then becomes a GPF in KERNEL32.EXE and the PC hangs. The most curious part of this is that if the default printer is changed to a HP Deskjet or any other printer, the program works fine. We have deleted and re-installed the HP driver from the Windows CD and we have deleted and re-installed VFP - to no avail. If the project is moved and recompiled on any other development Win95 PC, the program produced works fine even with the HP Laserjet as the default printer. The two DLLs on this PC that seem suspicious are: UNIDRV.DLL (4.00.951) and ICONLIB.DLL (4.00.950). They were reported as being newer when the Win95 HP driver was re-installed. We now tried both using the "newer" versions and re-installing the "older" versions with no success. The next step will be to
>install Win98 and see if that will cure the problem. If anyone out there has any other suggestions, please let me know.

Hi,

1.See http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q183/5/22.asp. May be it will help you.

2. Try to use "older" drivers for your HP printer.
I have this problem with HP LJ 6p (4si works OK)
