Also in English and French
We talk of our "mother tongue", in the bible, at Babel they ended up "speaking in tongues".
In French, "la langue" is the tongue or the language (also "le lanuage"). (funny how both langauges use the silent "ue" at the end.
I wonder if there's any language where their word for "language" is the same as "larynx" or "vocal cords" :-)
