I have an article on MSDN's website (http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms965281.aspx#vfp9inactn_topic5) that talks about similar concepts. It has a section called "Pagination" where it talks about keeping a data group together. But you can use the same concept of a dummy shape that gets resized in a ReportListener to force your Totals to a specific spot on the page.

>Hello to all :
>I would like to use the report designer to generate invoices.
>Some of these will extend over multiple pages.
>How can I arrange for the invoice total always to appear at the very bottom of the last page?
>If I place the total in the summary band, it gets printed just below the last line of detail.
> If I place it in the page footer band, it is printed on every page.

>Thanks
