I wouldn't know. I never worked one of those details, though I did observe a "John detail" while working with Miami Vice. They used a couple of female cops who were too sexy. That was as close to entrapment as anything I've seen. I fully expected some preachers to pull up and ask for service!<g>

The job of the police is to "serve the public", which means when someone gets offended by someone making unwanted sexual advances, the police are obligated to respond. They also run radar because people complain about speaders, and almost everyone who gets a ticket says they should be out catching real criminals. I think they should respond to the public, as the public is supposed to be the ultimate boss.

>I agree that a cop shouldn't discriminate, but I'd rather have the police looking for some real criminals. Is there really a need to waste city resources and several cops time sitting in a bathroom stall looking for these bozo's? Perhaps the police could, I dunno, look for some REAL criminals or try to solve a REAL crime? Hey if there are homosexuals having these little trists in the airport bathroom, perhaps some of the employee's of the airport should deal with it so the cops can do some real police work. If I had my choice I'd rather have the cops out on the city streets trying to arrest gun-running drug-dealing dirtbags than busting a couple of weirdos in a bathroom. Seems to me the cops that were working on this could of been getting some guns off the street. Heck even if the were just sitting in a sqad car in a bad neighborhood near a school or something would of been better use of their time if you ask me.
