I forgot about this game (I was thinking of college games).
Those dead-skins deserve everything they got. I wish the bears scored 73 more. If I were the commissioner, I'd kicked them out of the league.

woooo... I have so much contempt for those dead-skins. I despise those dead-skins. I hope they go 0-16 this year.

>In the 1940 NFL championship, the Bears beat the Redskins 73-0. Right near the beginning of the first quarter, a Redskin receiver dropped a touchdown pass in the end zone. After the game, a reporter asked the Redskin coach how he thought it would have turned out if the ball had not been dropped. He replied, "73-7".

>>Appalachian State is not a bad team. Didn't they win the I-AA national championship last year or not too long ago?
>>
>>But in 1963 SMU was coming off a a 2-8 season.
>>
>>SMU was never a real big school, but they always had big school money....
>>I don't think SMU ever had student body of over 15,000.
>>
>>The only thing is SMU is not a I-AA school, so techically you're correct.
>>
>>
>>
>>>It could be the biggest upset ever, just based on how far Michigan fell in the rankings.
>>>
>>>>Maybe not...

>>>>In 1963 a bad SMU Mustangs team beat the 4th ranked Navy team, lead by my childhood hero, Roger Staubach, at the Cotton Bowl.
>>>>
>>>>SMU 32
>>>>Navy 28
