Not that I know of, but if it runs down, you're stuck til you recharge it. I like being able to just drop in new ordinary batteries that I can get anywhere anytime. Everything is proprietary these days, and I don't like being ordered around that way. If it's unavoidable, then that's one thing, but this is eminently avoidable.
