Dan,

>>>I created a web app using ASP.NET and all is working on my development machine. Now I am trying to move it to the server. I copied all the files for my app to a folder on the web server. Then I created a new Virtual Directory on the web server and pointed it to the correct folder.
>>>
>>>When I try to access the app from a browser, I get a Page cannot be found error. I did put a HTML file (index.htm) on the site and I can get to that, so it does not appear to be a security issue.
>>>
>>>What am I missing?

>>Are you using 1.1 or 2.0? Is the Framework installed on the web server? Do you see the ASP.NET tab in properties of the Virtual Directory? If so, is the Framework version selected the correct version?

Don't forget you will need to set the default document on the web server if you want it to navigate there without specifying /default.aspx
