Can't refute that. But even there, I believe things will change over time (a much longer time, granted) as even they become members of the wider world and their children are raised in growing numbers among us infidels.

There are always going to be fanatics, but I think that with time, the fanatics will be seen by larger numbers of even their own ethnicity as the fanatics they are. You can only kill so many people for so long before they get really sick and tired of being killed and decide to do something about it.

>In the western world, that truly seems to be the case. However, look at the Muslims and the rate of growth...

>>We've already seen it happening. Back in the dim mists of time when science explained very little of the everyday world, almost everyone (if not actually everyone) believed in some god(s) or other. Fewer and fewer as science explains more and more.

>>I think it's why religious leaders are becoming more and more desparate as more and more, they lose control over their flocks.

>>>It makes sense to me, but I think religious zeal outweighs common sense. Otherwise why do children in very religious households grow up with firm religious beliefs that don't even make sense in today's world.

The more that science can explain, the less need there will be for religion - especially organised religion.
