On the top level menu we have an option called DATA FILES and off this menu we have a sub menu with 5 options the first one is ACCOUNTS DATA FILES which has 42 options including separator lines. I think the main reason nobody answered yet is that nobody has run into this problem.

Why? Because nobody puts 40 items in a menu. I, for one, hate it when there are more than about 15 items listed - it's hard to navigate, and with the nasty habit of Windows menus to vanish no matter where you click, annoying.

I think you may use another way to navigate between your forms. A treeview, maybe, or some other GUI. Menus... have their limitations.
