>Our network administrator is away and our backup person is gone for the morning. The tape rewound during last nights backup and stopped at one of our order systems databases. Is there a way to release the backup without putting in a new tape? The database is read only at the moment so I would like to get access to it again as we can't enter any orders at the moment! I am familiar with rconsole if someone could tell me what to do. Thanks.
If you can use rconsole use it :
-rconsole && Needs password - defined or supervisor, admin
-After gaining access to system console press numpad + until reach tape backup controls screen.
-Select appropriate command(s)
-Shift+Esc to exit rconsole
