>I know. I speak frequently at user group's and code camps in a 5 state area here. Never, have I had anyone talk about slowness in data apps. When apps are built correctly using proper techniques, the apps sizzle. I posted the results of a quick comparison on a dataload into our system using VFP on one side and .Net on the other. The times for both runs were with in a few .10ths of a second, using the same source data files. However, I got lambasted about every periferal thing that could be thought of and not the main issue which is, that the data speeds were nearly the same.
