Are files on the network? Do you get the dialog if you open file from a local drive?

>As for the 'Browse in same window', you are most likely aware that only certain types have this option enabled so that it can be changed. Unfortunately CHM is not one that allows it. That ok though; I just don't like seeing the 'Open', 'Save' or 'Cancel' prompt.
