Isn't that the whole key to how politicians get these types of changes thru. Gradually.

I was listening to a discussion of a book whose author I totally forget, although the book sounds very interesting. It was written by a college prof right after WWII. He went to Germany and interviewed many. Typical on the street type Germans. The interesting quote I remember was from a German professor.

He commented that living in Germany during the rise of the nazi party, it was difficult to put 2 and 2 together as changes occurred. By the time people started opening their eyes to the reality of what was going on, it was too late.

>>No, but many lunatics on the left would like you to believe so.

>>They are also predicting the end of the world, humanity, western civilization, oil, and the U.S. Women's World Cup team. They may be right about soccer.

>Now this is a proper answer: no analysis, no response at all, but shooting at the messenger from all calibers. Did you offshore the job of your mental apparatus and now wait for the timezones to kick in, hoping you'll have it all in the morning at 10% of the price?

>So, "lunatics", "left", "end of oil", "end of W.C."... and for good measure, add a sport. Good, that's a good argument.

>All this may not happen so fast, and I may not be here to say "I told you so" when it comes (and even then you won't be able to recognize it, as it will always come gradually). But just in case, when it comes and if you do recognize it, imagine me saying so.
