>>>>>>>>>I guess you lot over there have seen all this by now (or at least the 2st season) but it's just been going some 7 weeks here. I missed 3 epes when I was on holiday but during the w/e just gone they showed all 7 epoes back-to-back - no delays, no comercial breaks (BBC you see). I managed to OD on it all and what a marvellous thing it is. I have been watching it but, having missed 3, there was a chunk missing in my comprehension (like why at the start of 1 was Clair (the cheerleader) all cut open on a coroner's slab - what a BRILLIANT story idea, as she pushed her open skin flaps back together and walked out, like she was fastening a cardigan). And seeing wee, cute Hiro come back from the future, all cool, with a samurai sword, deep-voiced and speaking with a US accent, and starting a loop in time - Brilliant too. Just leaves you biting your arse for more and wondering just what more there is in store. A++
>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>You may have missed one. Claire gets assaulted by a jock at a student party falls and gets a wooden stake through the back of her head. That episode ends with her on the slab. The next one starts with her on the slab and healing up.
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>Nah, what I meant to say is that I saw this during the Heroes-fest at the w/e. The jock rape attempt had been one of the epoes that I'd missed and this mystery was now explained to me. One loophole in the plot though is that there's no police follow-up as to how the accident was caused, knowing she was at the wheel (probably without a licence, insurance, etc.). Think about it too - that's twice that galoot killed her, or at least twice she's been killed by a jock (she was shoulder-charged down at the pitch and had her neck broken).

>>>Nuff said, eh? :-)
>>>
>>>Just made me realise - if this is another 24-weeker, I've a looooong way to go to catch up (then I never will have as you'll have started series 2). It just makes my spirits sink to think that they can't get out a decent finished story in 24 weeks - some 20-odd hours of TV. I could read a thick book in less!

>>I watched 6 seasons of Smallville in about 2 months. That is 45 minute episodes (with no commericals) with about 25 episodes a season. That's (25 * 6 * 45) / 60 = 112 and a half hours of Smallvill in 2 months. I'm surprised my wife didn't leave me.

I did a bit at first, but go into it around the second season. I am a superhero dork though.
Very fitting: http://xkcd.com/386/
