>That's terrible! Actually, I can understand the city possibly cleaning up on the street side of the sidewalk ... but on the other side of the sidewalk is her property. That doesn't belong to the city at all. I'm amazed that they did this! That poor woman ... 10 years down the drain! I would be devastated! I think the city owes her an apology and a work crew to re-plant everything.

And you don't have a back alley behind it where the old man in the white truck makes his round and takes notes, then reports to the city. Last November I had to urgently fix the back fence ($20 white paint) and the door in it ($20 cheapest planks) or else. I actually had a plan to completely replace the fence (few $100), but as I see the city wants to have a say in my back yard, so be it as they like it.
