I heard about it in M$ Developer's Conference in Budapest, Feb 3rd of '95. A beta was shown (by Alfredo Pizzirani - if anyone knows this guy, send him my best). Few months later (june, I think) my folks went to another conference of a kind, and came back with a beta on CD, dated May.
