Do you know why the infrastructure about SET DELETE ON has changed in VFP 3.0 and up? Unlike FoxPro 2.x, we can't no longer use SET DELETE ON in our applications and create a tag on DELETED(). On high volume tables, this is now extremely slow and unacceptable. So, we have to use a different approach like creating a flag field.
