Hi,
Looks like the DataSources window is opened from the Data menu rather than the View one.

Hope you enjoyed Brecon,
Viv

>You had theorized that "The missing items aren't tabs on the Solution Explorer - they are other windows docked on the same edge. To get them back select them from the 'View' menu then drag the windows over the Solution Explorer."

>And I responded that there is no "Data Sources" option (my missing tab) in my View menu, which does contain Server Explorer.

>>Don't know about the Standard Edition. Prof. edition has a 'Server Explorer' - is that what you meant?

>>>P.S. I'm very envious of your location - I love old books!

>>Have you visited? Last count I heard it was over 17 miles of shelves so you're likely to find something you want - but not neccessarily at bargain prices. There's also the summer literary festival which brings in a bunch of writers, etc.

>>>Thanks for the reply. I won't have access to the problem installation until tomorrow mornng, but when I tried your suggestion on my own, "normal", installation, I didn't have a Data Sources option in my View menu. I only have the Standard Edition of VS2005 if that's relevant.
