If you're using local views for everything now, then it is a matter of creating duplicate remote views, then setting the OpenViews property of the data environment.

>Hello everyone,

>We have an existing VFP 9 application with about 150 forms, 60 tables, and thousands of methods. Currently the app uses native VFP tables as its database. We would like to offer our users the option of using either VFP tables or MS SQL server.

>What is the best way for accomplishing this? Should we change all our data calls to use Remote Views and then upsize the database? Are there other options? Also, does anyone knows of utilities or tools that would make this app-wide change easier or smoother?

>Note that we do not want to completely switch to MS SQL, but rather give the end-user a choice on whether to use native VFP database or MS SQL.
