I have been busier than a one-legged man in an a**-kicking contest. The girls live here now, as I think you know, and are halfway through the first quarter at Round Lake HS. Emily is on the volleyball team. She started out on the freshman team and was then moved up to the sophomore team a week or two later. Monday she will be playing with the JVs. They don't have a JV team per se but form it ad hoc for matches from the lower end of the varsity and the upper end of the sophomore team. Her teammates were here a week ago for a birthday sleepover. What a great group. Exactly the kind of kids you want your kid to be hanging out with. Today, they shop <g>.

The last time you saw her, right after Princess Di died, she was about to turn 5 and Allie was 7. Amazing. The blink of an eye.
