In VFP8 I have a grid that has several fields from its RecordSource, say TABLE1. There is one field that is computed (not editable) so it is in child cursor, say curTable1. I have the standard SET RELATION TO into curTable1. Everything seems to work fine.

In VFP9 everything is fine until the user adds a 2nd record in the grid. The computed field in the 1st record now has the same value as the computed field in the 2nd record. I understand that in VFP9 the record pointer for the child table is not changed as focus moves from record to record in the RecordSource.

Is this fixed in SP1 or SP2?

Short of creating a View or putting everything in the grid in a cursor, what is the recommended fix/work around?
