It works!
I built a separate index just for the Find dialog. Upper(cName_ID) and named it Name_ID
Then I went to the cmLookupManager.GenTagList() and put in the following code.

dodefault() && to pull in all the indexes including this new one
this.SetTag('Wizard_1', 'Disable', LOOKUPMASK_LOOKUP) && to disable the old name index

It works fine and I thank you for your help.
