I've installed NT 4.0 on a PC with an STB Graphics accelerator and a Jaz Jet SCSI card. Cannot yet get NT to recognize the Jet card. (Suggestions?). I do get frequent and unpredictible crashes. Also very frequently find that NT is not responding to mouse clicks properly immediately after boot up (for example, click in any system or application window; window gets focus OK; but then click on object in the window and window becomes *inactive* and object does not respond to click event. Very wierd).

System is a dual-booter and runs rock solid stable under Win65 (talk about irony!!!). 80 meg of RAM. It's a genuine Pentium machine bought from Swan Computers about a year ago: NT certified.

Note: from MS KB: Article ID: Q140643

If you use an Adaptec bus mastering SCSI controller as your main controller and have a STB PowerGraph 64V video card installed on Windows NT 3.51, the system will crash at system login with the following STOP message:

STOP: 0x0000000A
(0x0000000B,0x00000011,0x00000000,0x80013693)
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL*** Address 80013693 has base at
80010000 - aic78xx.sy

But I am using NT 4.0 and the STOP isn't always that error message. It's frequently an "unhandled exception in Kernel mode" message.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
