>Columbia University president Lee Bollinger slammed Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as he was introduced for a question and answer session with students. Asked about widely documented government abuse of women and homosexuals in his country, Ahmadinejad said, 'In Iran we don't have homosexuals like in your country. We don't have that in our country. In Iran we do not have this phenomenon. I don't know who has told you that we have it'

Yeah that part was really funny :)

BTW I Did not like rude/hostile 'introductory' by Lee Bollinger.
It is very simillar in attitude and questioning line to previous Ahmadinejad interviewer from CBS. (and the one by ITV guy you posted before)

I have read 3 transcripts lately where Ahmadinejad is answering basically the same line of questions.

It looks like someone makes them little taskbooks (sets of questions) for interviewing Iranian president which they all have to abide by. It cannot get more lame then that.

Here are full transcripts.

Makes you wander what happened to culture of public discussion/interview.
