We do not want to use AutoInc for this because we've had problems when inserting into tables using SQL in being able to rebuild data if things go bad. I don't have a better explanation, that's what I got from a co-developer. So, I used to have a nifty little proc, that I thought I got from here, that used a table to store table names and the next ID value for that table. It was nice, but I can't find it in the download section. Does anyone know where I can find it, or has one that does this sort of thing? Thanks!
