Well I have figured out this much,it is not the machine capabilities because when I call the slow form in question directly('do form form2') it worlks fine, but when the previous form calls it, it bogs way slow. Seems all the 1st form does is set the index and calls form2. I have set the index on the cmdline and 'do form form2' & all was ok. Thats why it would be nice to see where it bogs doen using the trace window which isn't visible.
