Hi Albert

I think I was probably referring to using the drivers available in the OS rather than using the CD supplied with the printer. I assume the drivers still come from the printer company but made available by MS for convenience. Since most HP printers support PCL the driver does not have to be the exact one for your model if you are not using any model specific features. So sometimes I use just a basic LaserJet driver when customers cannot find their specific printer driver CD.

Yes I am still doing custom VFP work but have not used Visual Maxframe.
