We've developed retail software for CF and used UniTech handhelds. they worked very well and were considerably less expensive than Symbol units.
Another handheld possibility is InterMec. I haven't used them but I've heard good things about them.
>>>I am about to purchase a Pocket PC type device from Symbol for using with my company's .NET Compact Framework application. The price for this device, model MC70-90 is kind of high (about $1600 on the web). I was wondering if anyone can recommend a cheaper device with the same capabilities?

>>>Thank you.
