I use ExitProcess in one of my apps and it works fine.

There are situations where I need to do an immediate shutdown without user intervention, and I've found that Quit/Cancel can cause hangups if any forms are open that have QueryUnload code that engages in user interaction. I don't care if the data on the open forms has not been written back to disk. For my particular situation, this is to deal with the "abandoned computer" issue.
