I tried both your suggestions and unfortunately they do not work.
I read some time ago that Seek() ignores Deleted(). The current vfp 9.1 Help does not say that, but it appears that is the case.
My work-around is pretty ugly. If a solution cannot be found I'll add instructions in the Help Topic for that form to tell users to ReIndex and Pack that Table after they delete any records. I hate to get users involved in using the Pack command.
