I'm using the following to setup a service, but our network guy wants a way that doesn't use the Windows Resource Kits stuff. I have a class now that will allow me to add entries to the registry. Can I use that to just create the Registry entries and then just run the NET START EMPS to kick it off? What is the ENUM registry entry under each service? How do I know what defaults are needed at the EMPS and EMPS\ENUM levels in the Registry?
"C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\instsrv" EMPS "c:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\srvany.exe"
NET START EMPS
