Hi David,

sorry this is a late response but I've been in the same boat as you. Except I went back & got my Associates degree... not so much because of money but because of the endless justification (similar to Steve Black's response) just pissed me off & sent me back to school. Now I cranked out 48 credits in 12 months, not everybody can pull that off but not everybody has the atitude I did at the time either. But I have 2 suggestions for you, take 'em or leave 'em :)

1. What about getting your MCSD? M$ just revamped the the program and even though I can be quoted here as not being a huge advocate of certification, for you it might balance things out. http://mspress.microsoft.com/train/mcpexam.htm

2. One of the things I've *always* done to prove myself when looking for a prospective job is put together a sample code package that shows what I can do without me having to verbally justify jack****. Add to this package a good dose of confidence & in my experience, the education factor barely gets metnioned. This has always worked well for me, even now with the Assoc. degree because I still feel under par since I don't have the full 4 yr. piece of paper.

Good Luck
