I wondered if you did ... thinking maybe your kids went to visit someone. That's cool!

I have a friend who lives in Paris who is not really family, but I sort of regard her as a cousin. She's the cousin of a former boyfriend of mine and she lived in the States for awhile about 10-15 years ago, which is when I met her. So, even though her cousin and I are no longer together, I still think of her as family. The cool thing about visiting her whenever we are in Paris is that we get an experience that most tourists don't get ... we get to have a real French home-cooked meal when we go to her apartment for dinner (even though she's not the greatest cook in the world <g>).

>Let me know tomorrow whether you can see the New Zealand football from your hotel. ;-)

I don't know. I'm not into football or rugby or whatever the big thing was that was going on while we were there, so I didn't pay it any attention at all. We *did* notice lots of people wearing some kind of Ireland team shirts.

Anyway, I'm finally home now ... after being awake for more than 28 hours!!! yesterday in the process of getting home ... and now I have a ton of catching up to do.
