I've seen several comments here on UT that printing to PDF with the Amyuni driver is very fast. I'm not observing that at all so I’m hoping someone can point out what can be done to speed things up a bit. This application prints a batch of documents consisting of a single VFP report and 3 Word automation documents--4 pages total. When the batch goes to any other printer it takes an average of 5 seconds. When the documents go to disk files as PDFs, the print job averages 45 seconds. The VFP report is 4 times slower while the word documents are each 10 times slower. I know writing to disk takes time, but it doesn't seem like it should be that slow!

I’ve looked at the coverage logs from both processes and no single command seems to be the problem; each one takes a bit longer when the PDF driver is enabled—and that doesn’t make sense. The workstations have plenty of memory. In fact, there is slightly more available RAM when the PDF printer set as the default. Any ideas?
