Although I have nothing in my Click event of my NEW button, for some reason, the Parent Code which adds a record does not seem to work at all. And when I tried to trace through or step through the code, I saw nothing happening. I put

SET STEP ON
DODEFAULT()

in my CLICK event, but still, I was not able to step through the code. What is going wrong? This works perfectly on another form I have. The only difference I can see is that I do not have any code in my new form in the NEW button's CLICK event. In fact, I took everything out of the CLICK event; not even a space is there.
