I actually enjoy interacting with users. Many times they are not aware of what can be done. It's our job to help them make informed decisions. My biggest complaint though would be that they rarely have enough time to give comprehensive input into the development, so then there are often surprises when the project is nearing completion. Most have no idea what we do, or how we do it, and leave much up to us. I like getting them to become vested so I can give them a solution that really works for them and I don't have to redevelop as much. Maybe it's the old salesman in me, but I rather like users.

Now managers, that's a whole different story... <g>
