>PMFJI. I'd like to try the code, but, how do I get a mapped drive to "go unmapped" first? I've tried disconnecting my network cable, but I was expecting Windows Explorer to show a red X thru the mapped drives...it does not. Upon plugging in the cable, the drives are automatically remapped.

If you click that drive from explorer after plugged, explorer reconnect that driver. But if you try use that drive from VFP or try click a shortcut at your desktop which linked from that drive, you will see that drive not reconnected yet (sometimes that seem reconnected, sometimes not, I don't know why).

That code works great. Thanks to Borislav and remember Ed Rauh again...
