I feel sad reading this. Looks like you won't be able to fight this on your own. I wish for you that you find the inner strength to get professional help.

As for your job I'd say that if you find that help and get back there telling them that you're on the right track they would take you back. Best programmer they ever had. You'd probably have good chances to get your job back.
