I am updating my Appliction to work under Vista

Currently the application and th data was being installed under 'program files'

Vista apparantly does not permit read/write of database files under the 'Program Files" folder

So where should the database files be installed?? APPDATAFOLDER OR LOCALAPPDATAFOLDER

Obviously I would want to have one installation for XP, 2000, Vista and some Windows 98 machines

Since that database created in foxpro is huge, there is always a possibility that the database may not be installed in the "C:"drive.

How is the application to keep track of where the database files are eventually installed??

Advice & Sample Code would be greatly appreciated
