>If you haven't used any new VFP9 things that aren't in VFP6, like Member properties for grids, etc., you should be fine. You could also put some #IF code around places where you have used VFP9 specific or changed commands and have both VFP6 and VFP9 syntax in place and not worry about switching between versions. A couple of places I do contracting at all development is done in VFP9, but deployment is still in VFP6.
